What is left that no one can take: The Ego vs Reality

Life is a series of happenings, meant to hold up a mirror to ourselves, so that we may see the essence of our soul. It makes us ask the critical question : What is left that no one can take?
This is where the true battle between the ego and the true self begin. Sometimes the image we are faced with is ugly, unappealing, sad…but by whose standards? This lesson of life seeks to strip us bare, of all accomplishment, of all the things we call our own. Up until we can answer that very simple question. When all is lost, do you still see light in the world? Do you see the weavings and how the threads merge to form the grand tapestry? We know nothing, we own nothing, we need nothing except the essence of existence itself. There is no truth of truths, there are no absolutes. This is the ultimate test, to find yourself again and again, through this endless loop of undesired outcomes. Because once you’re at home with yourself, all else is background noise.

This fleeting collective narrative is inescapable. It is beautiful. Everything is radiant even in this freezing cold. The song of the birds once the rain calms down. The quiet hum of the city in all it’s aliveness. This nature of synchronicity that makes my soul come alive. We are the controllers of nothing outside of our very essence of being. This world that we create by the energies that we embody can only change along with our internal state.

This realm is like a beating heart, all the blood that rushes in must serve it’s purpose and then leave. That is the nature of being. Life and death are just a momentary blip in the vast expanse of existence. Nothing truly matters except the moment that we have now. Live Laugh Love. I know that sounded like a corny middle aged white woman that says Jambo and Hakuna matata the moment they set foot on our lands….but yes…Give this life your all and pursue the desires of your heart. There, we shall find alignment, when we exist without fear of contradiction, because no one has the power to contradict us when we are rooted in ourselves.
